Chevy Innovation App
Every year, Chevrolet flies the nation's top automotive editors, journalists, and writers to the Chevy Innovation Conference—three days of events unveiling the company's latest technologies and products. Chevy came to us with a clear goal: create a cohesive digital experience that would engage attendees before, during, and long after the conference ended.
The result was the Chevy Innovation app—a fully immersive tablet experience built around an interactive timeline that guided attendees through their daily agenda with rich event details, speaker profiles, event social messaging, and curated assets. The app became a living conference companion: attendees could take notes, join discussions, chat with fellow journalists, and save content to a personal virtual briefcase to reference throughout the year.
The app extended Chevy's reach well beyond the conference floor—keeping all events, stories, and assets accessible long after the closing session. From personalized onboarding and real-time agenda management, innovation product demos, and social networking tools, the Chevy Innovation app transformed a three-day event into an ongoing editorial and brand platform.
Welcome Onboarding & Daily Agenda
From the moment attendees opened the app, the experience was personalized, guided, and always anchored to the current moment. A quick, intuitive onboarding flow guided users through registration and profile creation—then seamlessly transitioned them into the Daily Agenda Timeline, using it as the vehicle to check in to the hotel, connect with groups, and get settled before the first session began. The timeline became the heartbeat of the conference, swiping left/right to navigate the schedule, and swiping down to reveale rich session detail and curated experiences.
Chevy Innovation
The Chevy Innovation sections gave attendees a hands-on window into the company's latest advances in technology and engineering, using touch-activated spin wheels to scroll through category-specific content and interactive 360° product experiences that let users explore the latest technology and components from every angle. Journalists, editors, and magazine publishers could save images, articles, and assets directly to their personal briefcase—making it easy to curate the content and reference it later when writing and publishing their automotive coverage throughout the year.

Outcome
The Chevy Innovation app delivered well beyond the conference floor. The app became the connective tissue of the entire event—and long after it ended. Journalists, editors, and magazine publishers used the personal briefcase to save images, articles, and assets throughout the conference, returning to that content weeks later when writing and publishing their automotive coverage.
